On June 23, 1927, the Higher Directorate of Studies and Experiments was established at Guidonia - Montecelio Airport. It immediately connotes itself as one of the very first and most advanced centers of scientific research and development on experiments on new aircraft, armaments, equipment and everything related to flight. Events after 1943, including the bombing of the Guidonia - Montecelio field, resulted in considerable damage to the structures of the time subject to further deterioration over time.
The recovery and revaluation of the entire infrastructural complex enabled the creation of a historical-museum tour of the MA in the Roman area, accompanied by a photographic and thematic exhibition with an audiovisual production through which an immersive multimedia experience will be possible.
